The English Nose offers an entertaining and lightly informative insight into wine with no set itinerary or agenda other than to sniff out wine stories which capture the imagination. I am nosey about food, art and design so expect the occasional inhale of culture.

It’s not a definitive guide to anything. I’m a Master of Wine, but make no claims other than being in possession of a good nose and a sense of curiosity. Specialising in the wine from Burgundy for twelve years has taught me the more you know, the more you realise there is to discover.
